So honored you're here! A bit about me. While I'd love to say I always knew I wanted to be a photographer, in reality, my path to this was a bit more winding.
Like Blue Ridge Parkway winding.
But that’s a story for another day and a good hike or glass of wine. What’s important is that one day, I decided to jump in with both feet and a few goals in mind: First, to create images I would want to showcase in my own home. I have high standards and want my work to speak for itself.
Second, to create an enjoyable experience that is worthy of your time and investment. Because I truly believe you deserve to have photos of you and your people that you love.
Lastly, to serve this WNC community in any way I can. How lucky are we to call this place home? If I can use this art form to tell its stories, showcase its beauty, or bring folks together in any way, it would seem like a small way to say thank you for the endless inspiration.
Capturing and showing off your family's unique milestones is my jam. I’m here to help you slow things down through gorgeous images you'll cherish for a lifetime.
My style is sharp, creative, bright, warm, and whimsical. I have an eye for detail and the elements that make a moment special. Most often, it’s less about the perfect outfit(although I am totally here for your perfect outfit) or pose and more about that unplanned moment when the light hits just right and we try something different and discover pure magic. It also helps to have a fantastic camera (Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, for those into tech specs), some powerful and versatile lens options, and an assist from Mother Nature on lighting.
I grew up just outside of Nashville, Tennessee and called the area home until 2023, when my husband and I decided to relocate to our happy place in the Blue Ridge Mountains with our son and two dogs. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, playing tennis, or snuggling up on my couch with my dogs and some terrible, reality television. I'm happiest when I have a trip planned and I love to explore new places. My son and I have been to eight national parks and try to add a new one to our list each year.
